  • From April through September, ozone can be a regional air pollution problem. Ground level ozone is a lung irritant and can be especially dangerous to those with respiratory conditions, children, the elderly, and those who do a lot of outdoor exercise.

  • TMACOG’s Student Watershed Watch (SWW) promotes stewardship of our freshwater resources through hands-on citizen science. The program brings hundreds of students to area waterways each fall to help them apply environmental education through water quality sampling.

  • TMACOG will host a Construction Stormwater Planning Workshop on Tuesday, October 26 from 9 a.m. to noon. This event is intended for design engineers working on residential and commercial stormwater projects and local government staff responsible for reviewing stormwater plans.
